Beirut in ruins in 1994, a presbytery in the heart of a French forest, a stopover in Morocco… A man destroyed by his lover's death tries to get on with life, helped by meeting a man he helps to come out. The destiny of three lovers tied up in a story of separation and desperate yet poetic reconstruction. Rites of initiation (raw sex between men outside the canons of physical possibility), the game of exchanging taunting looks, part fiction, part reality. A type of filmmaking that is different, sensual, creative and fecund-photogram after photogram. A rare and precious film.Lionel is confused. There's a rumour going around that one of his great-grandfather was not Swiss, but a mysterious Polish. The family doesn't seem to care, but Lionel, suffering an identity crisis, develops an obsession with a Polish illegal immigrant woman, to the point of jeopardizing his gay relationship with Serge. Resolved to get to the bottom of the mystery, Lionel accompanied by his sister Lucie, decides to go find out about Poland for himself. But do Lionel and Lucie really want information on an obscure ancestor, or do they just want to get away from it all? Everything seems possible in this wild quest for identity.

Lionel mendengar selentingan bahwa salah satu buyutnya bukanlah orang Swiss melainkan orang Polandia yang misterius. Keluarganya memang tidak peduli dengan fakta ini, namun lain hal bagi Lionel yang sedang mengalami krisis identitas. Obsesi Lionel pada seorang wanita imigran gelap dari Polandia adalah ancaman bagi hubungan homoseksualnya dengan seorang pemuda bernama Serge. Lionel memutuskan untuk memecahkan misteri ini, ditemani oleh adiknya, Lucie. Apa mereka benar-benar menginginkan informasi tentang nenek moyang yang tak dikenal atau mereka hanya lari dari masalah? Semuanya serba mungkin di tengah perjalanan mencari identitas.
